This exhibition is an OPEN CALL, submitting artists do NOT need to be Central Okanagan FCA or Federation members to submit.
We invite works of all genres and subject matter to be considered for this show
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION - Please Read Carefully
This show will be held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna. The RCA has made two display spaces available to us for this show. Each display space has its own Exhibition Dates and size requirements.
You may enter both sections of this show or just one.
Section 1 – Kelowna Artscape Beyond the Frame.
This section will be hung in the Galleria and on the permanent wall in the South Atrium. Paintings that are accepted by the jurors must be dropped off on Monday, October 5th in the morning. This section of the show will hang from October 6th to October 19th with the option of some remaining hung until mid-January 2027.
All paintings entered in this section must larger than 24” wide inclusive of the framed dimensions, if framed.

Section 2 – Kelowna Artscape.
This section will be hung on grids (with our new lighting system!) in the South Atrium. Paintings that are accepted by the jurors must be dropped off on Friday, October 16th between 10 am and 11 am. This section of the show will hang from October 16th to October 19th.
All paintings entered in this section must be 24” wide or smaller, inclusive of the framed dimensions, if framed.

Online Show
All accepted paintings from both sections will be displayed and available for sale through an online gallery. If more paintings are accepted than space allows to be hung physically, the show committee will select paintings from each artist to be hung, with the remainder available in the online show only. This will be done on a fair basis (for example, two paintings per artist).
Awards:
The two sections will be considered as one show for the purpose of awarding prizes.
First Place: $300, Second Place: $200, Third Place $100, 3 x Awards of Excellence: $50, 3 x Honourable Mentions: Award in Title
