OASIS Art Show 2019

OASIS 2019 OKANAGAN ART SHOW CALL FOR ENTRIES

About the Show: A Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) Regional Show organized by the Central Okanagan Chapter (FCA-COC). This is a juried, qualifying show with a full suite of awards. Note: because this is a chapter level show, paintings accepted into this show are still eligible to be entered in FCA Gallery shows.

Location: Peachland Art Gallery, 5684 Beach Avenue, Peachland, BC.

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, May 15^th, 2019

Show Dates: June 29 to July 28

Participants: Open to all Active and Signature members of the South Okanagan, Central Okanagan, North Okanagan and TNSC chapters of the FCA.

Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday, June 28, 6:30 to 9:00 pm.

Award Categories: Abstract, Floral/Still Life, Figurative/Animal, Landscape/Cityscape and Best of Show (no category)
Awards to be juried live by a panel of 3 FCA jurors

Entry Fee: $15 per image (max. 5 entries of which 2 may be accepted). Images should be 2,000 pixels on the longest side and should not exceed 4 MB.

Restrictions: Artwork should be no larger than 40” x 40” including frame. Art work cannot have been shown at this venue previously nor at any other FCA show.

Commission: 30%

Drop off: in person at the Peachland Art Gallery Sunday, June 23, 4:00 to 6:00 and Monday June 24, 10:00 to 2:00 (no shipping please). Further instructions will be sent to successful applicants.

Pick-up: in person at the Peachland Art Gallery, Sunday, July 28^th 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
