Marie Bergman
was born in Edmonton Alberta and was raised in Santa Clara California and the Canadian Prairies. I worked with many industries in the private sector. Fracturing my back in 1983; I went back to school for re-training. I have lived in many places. Presently I reside in Kelowna BC painting the Okanagan valley.
Artist Statement
Renoir said “ I believe I have learned something today. My ecological surroundings are a meaningful and purposeful thing to me and by gathering all of my senses with painting brush and/or painting knife in hand learning and expressing in oils and acrylics that connection of what I see feel or even hear to the world around me.”
