Janice Schwartz

Janice Schwartz has spent most of her life in Kelowna where the beauty of the Okanagan Valley has inspired much of her artwork. She has also gathered insight from her many travels and adventures around the world. She loves vibrant warm colors and she tries to use them to create exciting paintings.

With her vineyards and landscapes, Janice pulls in the viewer with vivid colours and detailed strokes. She enjoys making people smile with her humorous quail pictures as they flit around the Okanagan.

Art has always been an important part of her life and although she is self-taught, she has been inspired by taking workshops from various distinguished artists. Janice has had art displayed at the Community Theatre, Artwalk, and the Kelowna Art Gallery. She is currently a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Palette Club and the Mission Painters.
