I always had an appreciation for the arts, even as a young child. When I moved to Kelowna in the mid-80's, I fell into painting by chance.Perhaps it was synchronicity? I have no formal training but was very fortunate to find a knowledgeable instructor, with whom I painted on a weekly basis for several years. After a break of about 15 years due to work and family life, I am now retired and resuming my pursuit of art.
I paint primarily in acrylics. I create landscapes, florals and mixed media work. I paint whatever I am drawn to, that being color, movement and texture. My style? You could call it impressionistic/abstract.
