Bonnie Anderson won the Award Of Excellence presented by Little Straw Vineyards for "Mission Park" at the Triptych exhibition in Penticton in July 2011. Other award winners from the chapter were Honorable Mention to Jerry Markham for "Pepper Pickers Of The Lower Mainland" presented by the three Okanagan FCA Chapters, and an Award of Excellence to Linda Lovisa presented by Fusion Glass for "Below Specturm Falls - Early Spring, Monashee Provincial Park".
Jerry Markham has a feature article in International Artist magazine in the April/May 2011 issue titled "The True Voice Of Your Interpretation" with a step-by-step outline of his painting process.
He was also a finalist in Canadian Brushstroke Magazine's Figure/Portrait Competition in their January/February 2011 issue as well as a finalist in Raymar Art's online competition for February 2011. For more details visit www.jerrymarkham.com.

Jerry Markham's painting "Moraine Lake" was featured in the February/March 2010 International Artist Magazine's Landscape Competition. His painting "Winter Orchard" was featured in the November 2009 Artist's Magazine Annual Competition in the Landscape category, and he was also a finalist in Canadian Brushstroke Magazine's Artists' Favorite Subject Competition in the Jan/Feb 2010 issue.
