Kathryn Newell Kathryn Newell is a long time resident of Kelowna B.C. Kathryn paints in acrylic, mixed media and watercolor. She especially enjoys watercolor due to the spontaneous nature of the medium and the transparency of color that can be achieved. |
Kathryn has taught watercolor for the Kelowna Art Gallery for many years and has seen many of her students become accomplished artists. Upon request, she gives workshops and demonstrations at colleges, universities, schools, churches and other groups.
Kathryn is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Kelowna Art Gallery and the Kelowna Watercolor Guild.
