The Federation of Canadian Artists, Central Okanagan Chapter - FCA-COC* mandate is to promote and encourage the enhancement of visual arts for artist members and the general public in the central Okanagan and across Canada. We have been seeking a way to expose ourselves and our message; what better way to do that than a virtual gallery! An affordable, universally accessible venue to exhibit and reward outstanding artwork et voila ... 

The Classic Painting Competition was born.

This is The Classics’ Inaugural annual competition and it is simple; An online painting competition open to both FCA members and public alike. A professional artist juror will select the the top 15% from the total entries submitted. From these finalists the award winners will be selected, critiqued and awarded cash, certificates, publication and great exposure. Award winners and finalists will be featured online here at the FCA-COC website and in our newsletter, and the winner will receive an article in Canadian Brushstroke Magazine, all reaching a broad circulation of artists, public and art collectors.
